Formed in 1989, VANI is the national platform of Indian Voluntary
Organisations. With the outreach of more than 8000 organisations in India
and membership of various global forums, VANI is the premier organisation
working for strengthening the voluntary sector. The themes on which VANI
works are enabling environment, strengthening internal governance systems
and strengthening linkages of voluntary sector with media, private sector,
and government. Strategically VANI is primarily engaged in research,
advocacy and capacity building.
VANI invites suitable candidates to be part of its team with following
profiles:
Basic requirements for all the position: The candidate must have basic
understanding of the voluntary sector and sensitivity towards small and
medium sized voluntary organisations. The knowledge of Hindi and English is
also expected.
Media advocacy: The job profile requires drafting press releases, features,
and media relations. Candidates with at least two years of relevant
experience and educational qualifications are invited to apply.
Research and Advocacy: The candidate must have basic knowledge of
socio-economic research with the understanding of voluntary sector.
Candidates with at least post graduate degree and two years' experience are
invited to apply.
Receptionist cum Secretarial Support: The job profile includes managing
phone calls, visitors and communication with members. Graduates with at
least two years' experience are invited to apply.
