Ms. Sathyasri Goswamy is a development practitioner and facilitator of development processes and she has been working as a researcher, trainer, organization evaluation team member, gender and organisation consultant for over 15 years. She founded a development organisation in Akajan village of Assam 17 years ago and lived there for 8 years. She is now based in Bangalore and
has been recently nominated and appointed as the Advisor to Supreme Court Commissioner (right to Food) for Karnataka. Currently she is carrying out a Research on Homelessness in Bangalore city commissioned by Indo German Social Service Society (IGSSS). As a part of her core work she is currently associated with Context (International) Cooperation in the Civic Driven Change centre.
Further she is involved in building perspective on positive sexuality in twelve districts of Karnataka She assists Indian national organisations like National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO), National Institute for Mental Health & neurological Sciences (NIMHANS), UNICEF etcetera as a trainer in developing perspective on positive sexuality.
