Mr. Jayant Kumar holds a post graduation in Social Science with Specialisation in Rural Development from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi, Jharkhand. He has completed over 2 decades of professional experience in CASA and worked in various capacities as a Field Officer, Training Officer, Project Officer, and currently functioning as Head of Programmes. along with which He also is the Advisory Committee Member on Panchayati Raj, Government of Himachal Pradesh, Member of Government of India and CSO Task Force on National Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, Steering Committee Member of International Study on the impact of work done by ecumenical agencies world wide, Treasurer and Working Committee member of Voluntary Action Network India and Advisory Committee member of various CSOs in India. He has a Professional Expertise in areas of Institutional and organizational development (ID & OD) expert in the context of development organisations, project management and administration, project planning & formulation, pre-funding appraisals, result-based monitoring, Inter-sectoral coordination, liaison with multi-lateral and bilateral donors and governments human potential development (Participatory Training) at conceptual (perspective building) and skills level, facilitating and coordinating networks, forums and coalitions for advocacy and stakeholder dialogues, campaign planning and organizing, leadership, team building and team maintenance, financial management and fund raising.
